We offer touch ups and special effects for your special day, including photos of children and babies, families, portraits, glamour shots, birthdays, celebrations, real-estate, products and businesses, to name a few types of photographs we can duplicate digitally, restore, or rescue.

Outdoor Portraits: On-site, (on location), photography

No need to pose in a studio setting when the privacy of your own home, yard, or favorite outdoor park or other location is readily available to you. We have discovered that people photographed in their personal surroundings or favorite location makes them comfortable and relaxed, which shows in your photographs. Baby and children portraits at home or in the yard or playground are not only precious memories, but the baby, or child, is relaxed and happy. No more "canned" photographs at studios with fake backgrounds for your children. Each photograph will be uniquely yours, full of memories. Studio photographers often will go to a site you choose out of the studio. See section below on BackDrops that may be added to your family photos if you desire that sort of classical studio look in your photographs

Inclement weather should pose no problem, as long as you are comfortable, and the weather conditions are safe. In the case of electrical storms it is best to wait till the danger of lightening strikes have passed before continuing with your Photo Session. Check the weather forecast and schedule extra time for your Outdoor Photo Session if there is a possibility of thunderstorms. You will be surprised how rainy and overcast days provide the best detail and beautiful color saturation in your photographs.

Family or child Holiday photographs

The best place for a family holiday shot is next to your Christmas tree or seasonal holiday decorations.. If that is not possible we can add backdrops and other special effects, (see below).

Backdrops (Backgrounds)

Want to photograph a holiday shot for to order Holiday Cards before your decorations are up? If you have previous holiday photographs of your tree or decorations we can add that as a backdrop to the photographs, add one of our own, or create a holiday backdrops to your portraits. We can also give you the traditional "studio backdrop" to your photographs, providing you with a wide selection of backgrounds to choose from.

Ever go to a studio, select a backdrop only to find out AFTER you receive your prints that the backdrop doesn't look as good as you expected? With our services you will see what the final print will look like using your backdrop of choice BEFORE the you have a print made. These backdrops are added AFTER your photographs are taken, processed and digitized. You choose the best shot with the best backdrop before your photographs are printed.

Touch-ups and Special Effects.

Most studios charge extra for touch-ups, we offer this service for less. Usually we catch everything, from the stray red pimple, skin-tone corrections, to the strand of hair out of place and do the touch-ups automatically. Always review your proofs carefully for any additional touch-ups you feel are needed. The touch-ups will be made and a new set of on-line proofs provided for your approval. At any step along the way the touch-ups may be removed if you desire. NOTE: Any touch-ups after the prints are developed will be charged separately.

We also retouch and restore, and reprint old photographs if the negative is lost. We can enlarge your small photograph so you can order prints up to 8x10, (quality depends on the quality and size of the original photograph) All photographs we work on will be provided on a CD that you can take to a photo lab that processes digital photos.

We offer a unique photograph rescue service.

If you took a picture that didn't come out well. most of the time we can rescue your shot! We scan the negative, digital photograph, slide or the print if that is all you have, and in our computer bring out as much detail as possible. We also do this with your digital photographs.

• We can correct color balances, (if your photo has a strange tone, such as too yellow, or too green)
• over exposed or under exposed photos
• fuzzy photographs, (camera movement or slightly out of focus - depending on how blurred the photo is)
• brighten dull photographs
• correct skin tones or other colors in the photograph
• remove red eye in people, or green, yellow, blue, red eyes in pets.
• remove objects that don't belong in the photograph or are distracting and ruin the photo
• minimize or remove glares on your photos, (depending on how large, bright, or location of the glare)
• add text to you photos
• apply an assortment of special effects, such as
  • make your photo look like a painting ortile mosaic
  • add sparkling highlights to jewelry, lights or candles, (a cross like effect creates a sparkling reflection)
  • convert colored photographs into a nostalgic sepia tone or turn into black and white photos or apply those effects selectively to areas on the photo (such as the back ground, or the subject) to draw attention to the subject
• fix scratches, creases on damaged photos
• selectively colorize old photographs, (speia toned or black and white photographs) or colorize the entire photograph
• selectively blur objects or back ground items to draw attention to the subject and diminish the background or object
• correct blemishes and/or make-up that may look gaudy in the photograph
• erase stains or tears in clothing of the subject in your photos
• slim down a person, add height, or shorten a person
• rearrange some of the people in your group shots
• put your head or someone else's on another person's body
• correct a bad hair day
• test various hair styles and colors on you before you go to the hair salon. (need a head shot, with hair pulled back for this)
• We can turn your regular portrait or head and shoulders photo into a glamour shot, (sorry, we can't change your clothing or hair style for this).

You will see what the final photograph looks like, or what different choices you select will look like. We provide you with proofs online to check your photographs in the privacy of your own home. Your proof pages can be password protected to keep your proofs private and keep out the general internet audience from viewing your proofs.
